Full Moon in Gemini - December 4, 2025

The Final Full Moon of the Year

Take a deep breath, love - we’ve made it to the last Full Moon of 2025.

Tonight’s moon is the Cold Moon, named for the crisp, dark hush settling over the Northern Hemisphere as winter tightens its grip. Some traditions call it the Long Night Moon, a Mohican name honouring the deep, stretched-out hours of darkness that surround the solstice. One way or another, this moon arrives with a certain gravitas - a sense that the year itself is taking a long exhale.

And what a moon it is. Not only is it the grand finale of the year, but it’s also the last in a powerful run of supermoons we’ve been riding for the past three months. She’ll shine around 30% larger than usual - a little dramatic, perhaps, but honestly? Same. After the year we’ve had, she’s earned her moment.

**A Moment of Release

(and a gentle invitation)**

Full Moons are our cosmic prompts to let go - to cleanse, clear, exhale. With this one closing the book on 2025, it’s the perfect moment to release whatever’s grown heavy, messy, or misaligned. Not as a punishment, not as a grand ritual (unless that’s your thing), but as a soft making-space for what wants to find you in 2026.

This year has been… a lot. Transformational, chaotic, clarifying - sometimes all at once. Astrologer Pam Gregory called 2025 a year of “endings and beginnings,” and honestly, it tracks. We’ve been swimming through energies humanity hasn’t experienced in our lifetimes.

And then - the solar flares.
If you’ve felt wired, foggy, sleepless, buzzy, teary, or like your nervous system is doing the cha-cha without your consent… you’re not imagining it. Those X-class flares are no joke. (For context: solar flares run from A-class - tiny - to X-class — the cosmic whoppers. We’ve had several X-class this week.)

But these flares aren’t “bad.” They’re part of the Sun’s own evolutionary cycle, and they kick up energy that often catalyzes our own evolution.

Upgrades, baby. Just sometimes uncomfortable ones.

**Gemini Moon, Sagittarius Sun -

A Dance of Mind and Meaning**

This Full Moon lands in Gemini, opposite the Sagittarius Sun, echoing themes from mid-May through June. If you felt waves of curiosity, restlessness, distractedness, or a sudden urge to Google obscure fun facts back then - welcome back.

Gemini energy is clever, chatty, curious, and oh-so-mentally alive. It processes emotion through thinking, observing, analysing - sometimes to the point of spiralling into the mind’s labyrinth of "but what if…"

Gemini rules the arms, hands, shoulders, lungs, and nervous system, which is why this Full Moon may feel like a mental whirlwind: insights dropping in rapid-fire, thoughts racing, a brain buzzing with “what next?”

If your mind feels busy, scattered, or overstimulated — you’re not doing it wrong.

You’re simply tuned into Gemini’s frequency.

Let it move through you. It will settle.

What This Moon Is Asking of You

This isn’t a moon for pushing.
This is a moon for pausing.

For checking in with:

  • What needs forgiving - in yourself or others

  • What your nervous system has been whispering

  • Where you’re resisting change

  • What thoughts you’ve been looping

  • What emotional clutter you're still carrying into the doorway of 2026

None of this is about fixing. It’s about noticing.
Light sits on the surface of the Full Moon - and tonight, it also sits on the surface of you. Let it show you what’s ready to go.

A Soft Closing to a Big Year

Brew something warm.
Hold your heart for a moment.
Step into the moonlight if you can - she’s impossibly bright tonight.

And allow yourself a moment of reflection, release, and deep, grounded breath.

Wishing you a peaceful, insightful, beautifully gentle Full Moon.
See you on the other side, in the morning light of 2026. 🌕
