Hot Yoga in Stockport

Hot Yoga is a transformative and invigorating practice set in a heated room, typically ranging from 80 to 105°F (27 to 40°C). The warmth enhances muscle flexibility, encourages deeper stretching, and promotes detoxification through sweating, making it a powerful way to deepen your yoga practice. At 4NT we have the room at a temperature that is bearable and enjoyable.

In a Hot Yoga Class, you’ll move through a series of postures that challenge your strength, balance, and endurance while adapting to the increased heat. The heat helps to loosen muscles and joints, allowing for greater range of motion and more effective stretching. The class often includes a variety of poses, from standing sequences to floor work, designed to build strength, flexibility, and stamina.

The heat also intensifies the cardiovascular benefits of your practice, promoting increased circulation and a more profound sense of detoxification. Additionally, the warm environment helps to calm the mind and improve focus, making it easier to connect with your breath and stay present.

Prepare to sweat, detox, and push your limits in a Hot Yoga Class. Whether you’re looking to enhance your flexibility, build strength, or simply enjoy a deep and cleansing practice, hot yoga offers a revitalising and transformative experience.

We offer different methods of yoga in the hot room including Basics, Hot and Slow, Vinyasa Flow and Rocket!

Practice Hot Yoga in Manchester

Here at Four Noble Truths, just outside Manchester in Stockport we practice many types of yoga but hot yoga is one of our favourites and our founder Stacey is a big fan.

Some of the benefits are:

Improved Flexibility: The heat helps to warm up muscles, making it easier to stretch and improve flexibility.

Increased Circulation: The heat increases heart rate and circulation, which can help improve cardiovascular fitness and bring more oxygen to muscles.

Detoxification: Sweating in a heated room can help to flush toxins from the body, promoting detoxification through the skin.

Enhanced Strength and Balance: Many hot yoga poses focus on building core strength, balance, and endurance, providing a full-body workout.

Increased Calorie Burn: Practicing yoga in a hot environment can lead to a higher calorie burn compared to regular yoga due to the increased effort required to perform poses.

Stress Reduction: Like other forms of yoga, hot yoga includes elements of mindfulness and breathing, which can reduce stress and promote relaxation.

Improved Breathing: The practice often emphasizes deep, controlled breathing, which can improve lung capacity and respiratory function over time.

Mental Clarity and Focus: The challenging environment of hot yoga can help improve mental focus and teach practitioners to stay calm under pressure.

Enhanced Cardiovascular Health: The heat requires the heart to work harder, which can improve cardiovascular endurance and health.
